The Indo European Business Forum is an independent impartial body actively promoting two way flows of trade, investment in India and EU member countries.The Indo European Business Forum is a non-profit generating privately funded non-governmental organization. The aim is to encourage, nurture and promote bilateral business, mutual understanding and friendly relationships between industrial, service and business communities of India and Europe.

The members are the leading business personalities and professionals who have contributed a great deal to the development of India and Europe.

Our prime mission is to promote and encourage European investment in India and vice versa and contribute to the development of India and Europe.

We also look to develop trade, commerce and economic co-operation among Europe and India. To organise trade and investment delegations, trade fairs, events, exhibitions, symposiums etc to provide channel of communication within the business communities and of India and Europe.

To create awareness among Indian and European Institutions including various trade bodies with an idea to provide them information about the scope of Investments and business relations among India and Europe.

Indo European Business Forum is a meeting platform for business leaders, created to strengthen economic co-operation between business sectors of India and Europe.

Our role is to act as a facilitator between EU and Indian Business and provide quality and superior service to its members enabling their business to flourish and to strengthen Business relations between EU and India.

IEBF organises events and Business seminars so that business from both the regions can interact freely. We provide a platform for business from both the regions to interact and explore possibilities of Potential Investments, exports, imports, joint ventures etc.

India-EU relations have developed substantially since the adoption of the 1993 Declaration. In the economic sphere, ties have expanded and we have worked closely together to strengthen the multilateral trading system and to pursue a constructive dialogue on trade, investment and economic cooperation.

India and the EU, as the largest democracies in the world, share common values and beliefs that make them natural partners as well as factors of stability in the present world order. We share a common commitment to democracy, pluralism, human rights and the rule of law, to an independent judiciary and media. India and the EU also have much to contribute towards fostering a rule-based international order, be it through the United Nations (UN) or through the World Trade Organization (WTO).

We hold a common belief in the fundamental importance of multilateralism in accordance with the UN Charter and in the essential role of the UN for maintaining international peace and security, promoting the economic and social advancement of all the people and meeting global threats and challenges.

MOU between IEBF and Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry( KCCI)

On 10th November 2011 the MOU was signed and exchanged for IEBF by Mr. Janeevan John, Co- Ordinator and Mr.Deepak L Aswani, Chairman, KCCI witnessed by the Kerala Finance and Law Minister, Mr.K.M. Mani at an event in Cochin, Kerala.

Memorandum of Understanding between IEBF and SMITH VIOLET

Mr. Janeevan John, Co-Ordinator of IEBF signed MOU with Ms. Isabelle Smith Monnerville Partner for Smith Violet, a Law firm from Paris with cross border practice between India and France. Smith Violet will be promoting the objectives of IEBF in France.

Memorandum of Understanding between IEBF and London Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Mr Vijay Goel, founder of Indo European Business Forum (IEBF) and Mr Subhash Thakrar, Chairman of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 9 September 2011, to endorse and strengthen the expansion of economic and trade relations and co-operation between the member companies of both the parties.

The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established at Mansion House in the City of London on 25 July 1881 (www.londonchamber.co.uk). The principle objective of London Chambers of Commerce and Industry is to influence public opinion, the legislature and to affect reforms that individual companies would not be powerful enough implement successfully. Its primary role consists of the advancement of international trade and the representation of the interests of the London trading community as well as assistance to members in resolving day-to-day trading problems.

Memorandum of Understanding between IEBF and ICAI UK Chapter

Mr. Vijay Goel, the Founder member of IEBF has signed an MOU with Mr.Ajay Agarwal on behalf of ICAI UK Chapter.

ICAI is a founder member of various International professional bodies such as the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA), South Asian Federation of Accountants(SAFA) , besides the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) . It has also become a founder member of the international Innovation Network (IIN). It has played a prominent role in the International Bodies through its nominees who have worked and are working on the Governing Council as well as various Committees of those bodies.

ICAI is playing an increasingly proactive role in International Affairs and has drawn up a strategy with the aim to export professional services in a big way to enable Indian Professionals to take lead in International Affairs and come at par with those from developed countries.

Memorandum of Understanding between IEBF and Invest in Bavaria

Mr. Vijay Goel, Founder Member of Indo European Business Forum (IEBF) and Dr. Johann Niggl, Executive Director Invest in Bavaria, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 29th of June, 2011, for the Cooperation of encouragement and promotion of the trade and investments between India and Bavaria.

Memorandum of Understanding signed between Indo European Business Forum and ASEAN UK Business Forum

Mr. Vijay Goel, Founder member of Indo European Business Forum (IEBF) and Mr. S. K. Lingam, President ASEAN Business Forum (AUBF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Cooperation of encouragement and promotion of the trade and investments in countries of ASEAN, Europe/UK and India.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) comprises Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The 10 member ASEAN states are home to more than 500 million people, a total area of 4.5 million square kilometres and a combined gross domestic product of US$737 billion. Mr. Goel and Mr.Lingam in their meeting said that, the co operations will be in the areas of Exchange of trade and investment related information in order to promote international trade and investment between the concerned countries, exchange of business proposals of joint ventures, collaborations, technology transfers, promote the exchange of the trade missions between India, Europe/UK and ASEAN and setup business contacts.

By giving information regarding an Ocenarium project today ( 300cr project) Mr. Vijay Goel kick started practically the Co-Operation. Mr. Janeevan John Co- Ordinator of the IEBF was also present in the meeting.

IEBF joins hands with AIAI (All India Association of Industries)

Mr. Vijay Goel, Founder Member of Indo European Business Forum (IEBF) and Mr. Vijay Kalantri, President of All India Association of Industries (AIAI), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Cooperation of encouragement and promotion of the trade and investments between India and the EU.

AIAI established in 1956, is an apex body of trade, commerce & Industry in the western region of India. During the course of its eventful span, it continues to play a vital role in the industrial and economic development of the country.

AIAI further represents the Industry’s views and influences and sensitizes the government machinery on policies and legislation, which affect industry and trade. This is achieved by representing members on the various high-powered government advisory boards and committees. The association seeks the views of its members on issues that affect industry and trade through its various committees and study groups involving members of different industries.

Memorandum of Understanding between IEBF and Indian Business Chamber of Luxembourg (IBCL)

Mr. Vijay Goel, Founder Member of Indo European Business Forum (IEBF) and Mr. Sudhir K. Kohli, President of Indian Business Chamber of Luxembourg (IBCL), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 28th of March, 2011, for the Cooperation of encouragement and promotion of the trade and investments between India and Luxembourg.

IEBF signs Memorandum of Understanding with The Training Gateway

Mr. Vijay Goel, Founder Member of Indo European Business Forum (IEBF) and Ms. Amanda Selvaratnam, Director of The Innovation Centre, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 7th of April, 2001, for the Cooperation of encouragement and promotion of the training and educational programmes between India and the UK.
