Delegation to India

We along with Loomba Trust are taking a delegation to India for Pravasi Bhartiya Divas, few House of Lords and top business persons have already confirmed to come with us, we would be grateful if you can join us for that

The Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, Government of India will be holding its annual flagship convention - 8th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2010, at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi from 7th to 9th January, 2010. The conference will be attended by over 1500 Indian Diaspora from around the world.

Hon’able Prime Minister of India, Dr Manmohan Singh will inaugurate the convention on 8th January, 2010. President of India, Her Excellency Shrimati Pratibha Devisingh Patil will deliver the valedictory address on 9th January, 2010 and she will also confer the Pravasi Bhartiya Samman awards on distinguished People of Indian Origin, who have made outstanding achievements in their adopted country.

The Convention provides the largest platform to the British and British Indians for exchange of views and networking on matters of common interest. It will also provide the delegates with an opportunity to interact with Cabinet Ministers, Chief Ministers and other policy makers, as the sessions will be held on Investment, Knowledge, Philanthropy and Gender Issues.

I am delighted also to invite you to a Gopio Conference, www.gopio.net which will take place in Delhi on 5th and 6th January, prior to PBD 2010 Convention. It has been agreed that for GOPIO members, the registration fee for PBD 2010 Convention would be USD 100 (50% of the normal amount)
