UK recovery stalling as construction plummets

Syrian ambassador on guest list
Syria's ambassador to London, who was summoned to the Foreign Office over the regime's bloody crackdown on
protesters, is due to attend the royal wedding.
A spokesman for St James's Palace confirmed that Sami Khiyami was still on the guest list for Westminster Abbey.
On Tuesday, Dr Khiyami was called to the Foreign Office to be told that Britain regarded his government's use of force
against the demonstrators as "unacceptable"......
